Nick Grey has been releasing experimental yet emotional music since 2004. His songs are a soulful blend of torpid arrangements and unpredictable electronics, underlined by melancholic and often ironic lyrics.

His last album, Breaker of Ships, was released in 2015. Side-projects have included being a member of the "virtual collective" 48 Cameras along with Jean Mathoul and Charlemagne Palestine, 230 Divisadero with Matthew Shaw, and a collaboration with electronic musician Empusae. He is currently involved in L’Eglise du Mouvement Péristaltique Inversé, a French cold pop project whose second album, Le Peintre du Soir, was released in June 2024.

An expansive restoration project is in the works : his complete discography (2004-2024) is currently being remastered and will be available on all digital platforms by the end of 2024, including an unreleased album recorded in Berlin in 2017, and a collection of his favorite tracks — dare we call it a best of ? —  featuring a handful of personally curated rarities.
