Nick Grey & The Random Orchestra have been releasing experimental yet highly emotional music since 2004. Their songs are an expressive, soulful blend of torpid acoustic arrangements and unpredictable electronics, underlined by melancholic and often ironic lyrics. Their fifth and latest album, Breaker Of Ships, was released in June 2015. The band is currently based in Berlin.
Additionnally, Nick Grey has released an album and three EPs with Matthew Shaw (of Tex La Homa) under the guise 230 Divisadero on Locust Music, and has also been a member of the "virtual collective" 48 Cameras for ten years (with Jean Marie Mathoul, David Coulter, Gerard Malanga...).
The band is currently working on the release of a new album, which has been recorded at Bakermoon Studios in Berlin and mixed and produced in Paris by Romain Drogoul at Studio Lepic.
