Nick Grey has been releasing experimental yet emotional music since 2004. His songs are a soulful blend of torpid arrangements and unpredictable electronics, underlined by melancholic and often ironic lyrics.
His last album, Breaker of Ships, was released in 2015. Side-projects have included being a member of the "virtual collective" 48 Cameras along with Jean Mathoul and Charlemagne Palestine, 230 Divisadero with Matthew Shaw, and a collaboration with electronic musician Empusae. He is currently involved in L’Eglise du Mouvement Péristaltique Inversé, a French cold pop project whose second album, Le Peintre du Soir, was released in June 2024.
An expansive restoration project is in the works : his complete discography (2004-2024, including an unreleased album recorded in Berlin in 2017) has been remastered by Peter James and will be progressively made available on all digital platforms.

Early 2025 will see the release of Sleepwalking Through A Day (2004-2024), a collection of Nick's 20 favorite, personally curated tracks — dare we call it a best of ? — along with 4 pieces of brand new, unreleased material.
